We’ve been collecting, repurposing, and selling vintage for more than 16 years!
We’re country girls, one from Ohio and one from Kentucky, who met in the city and bonded over a mutual love of farm auctions, faded linens, and old wood.
We’re finding our way back to small town life, and work out of an old farm machinery shed we’ve converted into a permanent show space and workshop.
We both love anything we can put OTHER things in – baskets, buckets, crates, barrels, lone drawers, card catalogs, tins, tubs, letter trays, cubbies, lockers – you name it. If you can store, sort, or hide something in it, we want it!
Lori, on the family farm in Ohio
We each have our favorite power tools, and love puzzling out the process of turning an abandoned piece into something useful (except when we have to use a lot of math), but the real joy is in the hunt!
Laura, with Blanket in Kentucky
We’ve broiled in the sun and frozen in the winter wind at countless country auctions, we’ve waded through goose poop and sheep manure at slightly sinister salvage yards and we’ve climbed barn rafters to saw off hay mow ladders. Lori’s listened to hours of Laura’s complaints about being cold, or hot, or tired, or bored, or hungry (always hungry!). We’ve traveled for miles and miles and met wonderful people (and some who were a little scary). And we’ve loved every minute of it.
